Laboratory Assistant Program

The Laboratory Assistant Program is specially designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in Quality control laboratory settings as well as research laboratories. The candidate should be trained in all aspects of the Research Laboratory, including quality control and laboratory orientation and regulation, Good Laboratory Practices, etc.

Duration: 6 months
Eligibility: 10+2 (Science)

Dairy Plant Operator program

The Dairy Plant Operator Certificate program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to competently work in the dairy industry. Specific objectives of the proposed certificate program are to provide students with the skills and knowledge to effectively and safely operate and maintain milk processing plants and ancillary units.

Duration: 6 months
Eligibility: 10+2 (Science)

Activities Envisaged:
- Advice on attractiveness of technology / business idea
- Up-gradation of the existing units
- Preparation of Business Plan (covering market, technology and financial attractiveness)
- Mentoring
- Introduction to financial institutions for funding
- Nurturing the growth of technology- based small enterprises.
- Assist the units to identify and evaluate the technology and know-how.
- Train personnel from the industry to improve their technical and management skills.

FACILITIES:

a. Conference room with LCD Projector to impart EDPs, training programs, meetings and conferences.

b. Small milk processing unit with a channel partner to conduct training programs in batches/ specialization in a particular product.

c. Association with a dairy recruitment company to recruit trained and experienced staff for milk processing units.

d. Experts empanelled with CADE to provide advisory on project implementation and guidance on financial support.

e. Association with original equipment manufacturers/ traders to get the best plant and machinery.
